Jewely cougth a glance of Buck walking by. she gasped and walked to him. her ears were pinned, head low, and tail tucked asking what was wrong.

Nokata looked at Buck then Alex.

Blood didnt notice Buck. he layed in the middle of the cave where his back faced the cave enterance.

Alex looked at Buck and darted off. he shorty came back with a large buck. he layed it near Buck. Next he walked away. They all knew that something was wrong and Alex on his way to find deer he saw the lion and Shorty's lifeless body.

Buck looked up and let out a massive howl, then put his head back down and hid under his paws.

Jewely layed beisde him and whimpered to him telling him its ok and that she was very sorry for him.

Nokata left Buck be.

Alex and Blood also left him be.

Buck looked up and saw the deer, he slowly started to eat once he was finished he got up slowly and painfully and slowly walked back to Shortys lifeless body. He got there and layed down nudging her side.

Jewely whimpered at him. she was soo sorry.

Nokata, Blood Diamond, and Alex layed in the cave quietly.

Buck buryed his face in Shortys fur getting blood all over his face.He looked up at Jewley and licked her muzzle then limped back to the cave all covered in blood, he walked right past Alex, Blood and Nokata then fell to the floor with a whine.

Jewely whimpered still as she followed. she hated when most others were sad. she layed beside him and licked and groomed the blood off of him. She felt very bad.

Nokata walked over but then walked away to Alex.

Alex sat beside her and licked her.

Blood watched Buck alittle selfishly jelouse.

Buck looked at Jewley and smiled weakly then put his head back in his paws. He already missed Shorty so much, he whine again.

Jewely finished. he would need a bath to get the rest off. she then layed her head on his back tring to compfert him.

Buck slowly fell asleep, he started to snore lightly. He moved so he was cuddling up to Jewley.

Jewely allowed him to cuddle next to her. Normaly she would flip and tell the male to get but this time she didnt. she just layed there, head on his back. she also slowly fell into a deep sleep.

Nokata smiled and layed down. Alex by her side.

Blood grunted quietly to himself. he layed down and face looking out of the cave.

Buck snored lightly and cuddled in more with Jewley.

Jewely licked him as she slept.

the others all slept.

In the night Buck awoke it wasnt the same without Shorty, He got up and limped out of the cave towards Shortys lifeless body and dragged it back to the cave, he cuddled up to her cold, stiff body, he shivered he got up and walked back to Jewley and cuddled up to her again putting his cold nose on her side.

Jewely awoke to the stinch of death. she looked around and found Shorty's lifeless body and sighed. she licked and groomed Buck felling bad for him.

Buck sighed and snuggled up closer to Jewley, he then fell into a deep sleep.

Jewely snuggled and fell back asleep. she took in his warmth.

Nokata, Blood, and Alex all left the cave at once and started to dig a hole big enough to fit a wolf in.

In the morning....Buck awoke and saw Shorty gone he jumped up and looked around he ran outside and saw the dug up and buryed part he layed down by it and sniffed at the ground.

Alex, Blood, and Nokata all 3 layed side by side cuvered in mud. they slept scenes theyve been up most of the night digging a hole.

Jewely awoke and looked at Buck. she walked out side the cave and came back with 2 rabbits. she layed 1 infront of him and flopped the other down infront of her. she layed down and ate it.

Buck slowly picking at it, when he had finished he got up and walked to Nokata, Alex and Blood. He snuggled up to them in between Nokata and Blood.

Jewely walked into the cave and layed beside her brother Alex.

Nokata felt him squize in and she layed her head on his back.

Blood awoke shortly after Buck squized in. he rubbed his head from his neck to his muzzle like he would a brother. it also showed respect and that he was sorry.

Alex slept still.

Buck nudged Blood, Then snuggled more between them he put his head on Nokatas back.

Jewely rolled on her brother. she knew it annoyed him and thats why she did it.

Alex grunted as he opened his eyes.

Blood wagged his tall as he awoke.

Nokata also awoke. she put her head in his chest.

Buck Snuggled his head on Nokatas back and licked it, He put one paw on her back and the other infront of her just like he was hugging her.

Nokata licked him.

Blood and Alex stood up. Alex was annoyed with Jewely. the 2 trotted off into the woods.

Jewely moved to the other side of Buck and snuggled close. she licked his shoulder a few times then layed her head on her tiny paws.
